We are a school where iron sharpens iron. The students at Aledo Martial Arts support and challenge one another. We know that individually we improve by helping our classmates to improve. Our instructors encourage but do not go easy. At Aledo Martial Arts, black belts are earned, not given, and we believe that every student can achieve greatness.
Instructor Kyle Brandt
I was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. When I was seven years old, I started training in Tae Kwon Do under Tommy Stallard at the Arlington School of Self Defense.
I taught classes at the Arlington School of Self Defense for about 15 years before opening my own school in 2010. I operated Brandt Fitness and Self Defense, in Fort Worth, for eight years. In 2018, Doug Zedler offered me the opportunity to purchase Aledo Martial Arts and I decided to make the change. I love the Aledo community and felt like I could add to what the Zedlers built here.
My wife, Sarah, and I have two beautiful children, Ellie (pictured) and Gus.
Located at 108 Jearl St., less than two miles south of the FM 1187 exit off of I-20, we are close to Weatherford, West Fort Worth, and all points in between. Our facility is a clean and well-equipped space of 2,000 square feet with a sprung floor under the mats for added safety.
